Advent and Christmas
Christmas Music Sunday is usually celebrated on the third Sunday of Advent at the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. services. This inspiring service includes familiar carols, guest musicians and special Christmas music provided by the choirs of Second Presbyterian Church.
On Christmas Eve we present four worship services. The 4:00 p.m. service is designed specifically for families with children. The 7:00 p.m. service is led by our high school and college youth. The 9:00 and 11:00 p.m. services follow the traditional Nine Lessons and Carols and feature choir, organ, brass and percussion music during the half hour prior to the service.
