Spring 2021 Weekends Delayed to Fall 2021

Hello IGB community,
As I write this, snow is falling, chilly temperatures are in the air, but we are all holding on to the promise of what Spring holds. Typically, this time of year, Kelly, Nancy, Mike and I would be actively working behind the scenes to get things ready for our Spring banquets. As it’s been over a year since our last banquet, we too were eagerly anticipating the chance to host banquets this Spring, believing that God could make conditions such that this would be possible.
Unfortunately, after our continued prayers and many conversations, we’ve made the sad decision that IGB #117 and #118 must once again be postponed Conditions in our larger community at present, coupled with the slower than expected roll-out of a vaccine, means it would be unwise of us to host a banquet. So, in our effort to be good citizens of our community and to provide every guest with the same amazing banquet experience, we must put off these banquets until at least the Fall.
Continue to pray that God provides the means to get this pandemic under control and that those who are most vulnerable would be protected. We continue to meet monthly online for our gatherings, and we’re brainstorming some ways to take advantage of Spring and Summer weather to safely gather the community. Be on the look for those announcements, which will come when the time is right.
We love and appreciate all of you, and we’re praying for you even in this time of separation and inactivity. Make no mistake: God is still moving and active. And we believe He will continue to breathe life into arid places through the Indianapolis Great Banquet for many years to come.
